The Louisiana Conference - Local Church Work Areas

While the pastor is the spiritual leader of a congregation, he or she cannot be expected to fulfill all of the ministry tasks of the church. The United Methodist Church believes that clergy and laity are partners in ministry. These pages identify basic job roles and resources for the various ministries in the local church.
