MINUTES - SUNDAY EVENING
June 1, 2008

The Celebration of Remembrance and Holy Communion began with Pre-Service music performed by Ken Medema and the combined choirs from Noel United Methodist, First United Methodist Church of Bossier City, St. Luke’s United Methodist Church of Shreveport, Christ United Methodist Church, Lakeview United Methodist Church, Logansport United Methodist Church, Fellowship United Methodist Church, Asbury United Methodist Church, First United Methodist Church of Mansfield, and First United Methodist Church of Shreveport with organist, McCoy Ransom.  John Ness Beck performed, “Upon This Rock.”  The service was led by Bishop William Hutchinson, Reverends Bernadine Johnson, Monica Monk, Clifton Conrad, Derrick Hills, and Mr. Ulysses Joseph and George Anding.  Bishop J. Woodrow Hearne gave Witness to the Word.

The Closing Voluntary was given by Mr. Bruce Neswick.
